Thoughtful Primary Care Built Around Understanding the Whole Picture
Dr. Krishna Ramesh believes primary care works best when patients have enough time to explain what they're experiencing—and their physician has enough time to listen, ask the right questions, and understand the larger picture.
His approach combines comprehensive internal medicine care with prevention, chronic disease management, clear communication, and a strong long-term physician-patient relationship.
Medicine Has Always Been Personal
Dr. Krishna Ramesh grew up in the Michigan area before pursuing his medical education in Bangalore, India, where he graduated from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College.
He later returned to the United States and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Medical City Arlington in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
His medical training exposed him to a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions—from routine primary care needs to complex chronic disease and acute illness. Those experiences helped shape his belief that one of the most valuable roles a physician can have is being the person who understands how all of the different pieces of a patient’s health fit together.
At Amara Health, Dr. Ramesh provides comprehensive internal medicine care with a particular emphasis on prevention, cardiometabolic health, chronic disease management, and helping patients better understand their medical conditions and treatment options. He also provides management of anxiety and depression when appropriate as part of a comprehensive approach to primary care.
He believes patients should leave every appointment with a clear understanding of what is happening, why a recommendation is being made, and what comes next.
